This week, the Country music world lost a legend, their "Rhinestone Cowboy" Glen Campbell.
"It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and legendary singer and guitarist … following his long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease,” the singer’s family said in a statement.
Enjoy this video of Campbell's last song ever recorded, a song that chronicled his battle with Alzheimer's disease.
In 2015, Julian Campbell, the co-producer of the song, told the Wall Street Journal that Glen came up with the lyrics around the time of his diagnosis. "I don't know what everybody's worried about," Campbell said. "It's not like I'm going to miss anyone, anyway."
