Some older adults may not have significant health issues and inactivity may be a result of having few interests. You could help them find some new interests. In some ways, they have to motivate themselves. Something even as simple as a routine walk everyday can be beneficial. You don't have to go to the gym and lifts weights every day. Even getting outside in the fresh air and enjoying nature can be energizing.
