Sound Options requires all caregiver applicants to be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA). For more information on certifications, please contact the Washington State Department of Health. Credentials & Application Process:
STEP 1: Click the "Apply Now" button to begin your process. Complete the online application and gather your required documents.

- CPR Card (Need to renew your certification soon? We offer a CPR class!)
- Driver's License

- TB Chest X-Ray OR (Two-Step TB Test AND One-Step TB Test within the last 6 months)
STEP 2: Walk-In Wednesdays: Once you’ve filled out an application, please come to our Tacoma business office (3518 6th Ave. Suite 300 Tacoma, WA 98406) any Wednesday between the hours of 8:30am-11:00am*. Applicants must bring ALL of the following required documents: .
STEP 3: At your Wednesday appointment you must take and pass a multiple choice exam on basic caregiving skills.

Worked as a CNA for 1+ years? At Sound Options you qualify for a $100 bonus after working 50 hours including 2 weekend shifts per month.
Let us pay for your CNA exam! Apply and be hired by Sound Options and work 50 hours, including 2 weekend shifts per month, and we’ll reimburse the $110 exam fee.
