Our History
The creation of Sound Options, Inc, was an outgrowth of the private consulting work in nursing, geriatrics, and medical-legal case review conducted by the founders. We have been providing Care Management services centered on a nursing/care management model since 1989.
In 1990, Sound Options began working with corporate clients to facilitate meeting the family needs of employees. We now provide worksite seminars, telephone consultation and nation-wide referral services regarding child, family, and elder care concerns. In 1999, the WorkLife program expanded to include a nurse line for healthcare information. The primary goal of these programs is to promote stable families and productive workplaces.
In 2005 Sound Options Home Health was added to address the daily needs of our client population. Adding home health service to our well-established products was a natural fit. By doing so we are now able to offer more comprehensive care services.
We serve individuals and their families, disabled adults, the geriatric population and professionals such as attorneys and trust officers who are responsible for the care of adults and chronically ill children. We work routinely with EAPs (Employee Assistance Programs), brokers, and organizations of all sizes.
