Sound Options believes that exceptional care begins with exceptional employees. Each month, we highlight and share the story of one of our Certified Nursing Assistants who carries out the mission and values of Sound Options with professionalism, intelligence, and heart. This month, we shine the spotlight on Jamie Wibbens!
A native to Washington State, Jamie grew up in Bremerton with two sisters. Her father worked in the shipyard and her mother was a pharmacist. When her mother was diagnosed with colon cancer, Jamie took up the role of caregiver and was by her mother’s side for 5 years, providing care until her mother’s passing. That experience was deeply influential to Jamie’s life and career and she has wanted to be a nurse ever since.
When asked what makes a good caregiver Jamie said, “You really want to bond with the client and genuinely take the time to learn their past. Everyone has a past. They are all unique people and not just clients”. When Jamie isn’t working you will find her watching the Seahawks like any good fan would do!
According to Jennifer Quenette, the Staffing Coordinator, “Jamie has been very reliable and dependable since day one! She is a great caregiver.” The Home Care Supervisor, Rebecca Herrick also had nothing but praise to share about Jamie, “She has become a favorite caregiver of many of our clients. Jamie has a great approach that the clients appreciate. She has also attended all of her training classes here in the office. She really is eager to learn new things and only expand her skills as a Certified Nursing Assistant.” Thank you for all that you do for our clients and the way that you do them. You really represent the mission and values of Sound Options!
